Zohar African Safaris' New Fixed Departure Packages Offer a Mix of Wildlife Viewing, Interactive Cultural Encounters and Recreational Activities

    LANCASTER, PA, February 25, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For 2015, Zohar African Safaris (ZAS) has introduced a series of 6- to 10-day fixed departure packages that feature some of Africa's richest wildlife conservation areas and game parks, as well as renowned archaeological sites, interactive experiences with native tribes, and recreational adventures.

"The Serengeti & Bushmen" Safari
Highlights of this 6-day/5-night package include: the amazing wildlife and spectacular scenery of the Serengeti plains; the Ngorongoro Crater, Oldduvai Gorge, where the oldest human fossils were discovered; and an interactive encounter with the Hadzabe Bushmen, whose ancestors date back 10,000 years to end of the last Ice Age. Fixed departures are available from June through December, 2015.

The safari price is $2,367 per person, double occupancy, with a $35 per person supplement during Christmas and New Years. The price includes: Round-trip airport transfers, accommodations in hotels and other lodgings, most meals, transportation by private FWD vehicle, and the services of a professional safari guide. It also includes park and crater entry fees, as well as sightseeing and cultural visits per itinerary.

"Explore the African Bush" Safari
This multi-dimensional, 10-day safari explores one of the most dramatic landscapes and scenic ecosystems on earth: The African Bush. It includes three days of game viewing in Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the Tarangire and Manyara National Parks in Tanzania. It also features a day inside the Ngorongoro Crater, a visit to Olduvai Gorge, and several interactive cultural experiences with the indigenous bush peoples living in and around the Rift Valley and the Serengeti plains. Independent recreational activities add an extra touch of adventure. Fixed departures are available from July through December 2015

The price of the 10-day safari is $3,785 per person, double occupancy. For Christmas and New Years departures, there is a supplement of $35 per person. Among the inclusive features are round-trip airport transfers, 9-nights accommodation in hotels and other lodgings, most meals, transport by private FWD vehicle, and three cultural visits. Packages also feature professionally guided sightseeing, all game park and other entry fees, and a choice of recreational activities.

Introductory Bonus Commission
As part of the introduction of their new fixed departure safaris, ZAS is offering travel agents 15% commission on the land portion of all packages through March 31. The commission is 12%, thereafter.

Customized Safaris
Any of ZAS's fixed departure safaris can be modified as needed. ZAS' experts can also design completely customized itineraries for agents whose clients have specific interests and/or special travel requirements.
