Selecting a Distribution Package

We offer 4 distribution packages:

• $49 USD for each news release – Online Visibility
• $89 USD for each news release – SEO Professional
• $139 USD for each news release – SEO & Media Exposure
• $389 USD for each news release – Mass Media Visibility

Each distribution package will offer a variety of different features and benefits. All prices are listed for a single press release in US Dollars. We do not offer any unlimited packages. Restrictions For Mass Media Visibility (via PR Newswire)

We have the following restrictions for our $389 Mass Media Visibility Plan ONLY

• We do not accept releases for publicly traded companies (companies with stock symbols)
• We do not accept releases for online gambling/casino.
• We do not accept releases for legal stories with case numbers.

These restrictions do not apply for our $49 to $139 packages.

Content Policy

We do not distribute:

• Defamatory or intent to harm - This content is defined as anything deemed intended to: incite, advocate or express hatred, bigotry, racism or gratuitous violence; promote personal opinions attacking an individual or group; maliciously affect a company's stock; or stalk, defame, defraud, degrade, shame or victimize an individual or group.
• Sexually explicit content - we do not accept content about sexually explicit material or products. Press releases should not contain references or links to explicitly sexual material, illegal material or profane language.

No refunds will be issued for stories violating our content policy.

Refunds For Rejected Press Releases

• No refunds will provided for any press releases containing fradulent and misleading information or content perceived to be defamatory or with the 'Intent to Harm'. This content is defined as anything deemed intended to: incite, advocate or express hatred, bigotry, racism or gratuitous violence; promote personal opinions attacking an individual or group; maliciously affect a company's stock; or stalk, defame, defraud, degrade, shame or victimize an individual, group or company.
• No refunds will be provided for any press releases containing sexual explicit materials and products including adult movies and sexual merchandise.
• Our editorial staff has the authority to reject any press release unsuitable for distribution. On an individual case to case basis, a refund may be issued subject to a 15% processing fee

About Our Paid Distribution

Our news distribution is scheduled each day starting at midnight (12:00am). Your story will first appear on our website just after midnight on the day of your distribution. Your story is sent electronically to editors/journalists, news partners, and RSS aggregators. Search engines will also begin indexing your story as soon as it becomes available from our website. For these reasons, we do not provide you the option of scheduling your story at a specific time during the day.

Only the text version of your story is distributed. Typically our news partners will only publish the headline and the main body of the story on their website. Your headline is the most important part of your release – make it count and make it informative.

What is not distributed?

Images and Attachments

Our $49 and above distribution package allows you to upload up to 4 images or attachments. Images or attachments are only viewable on the 24-7 website. We do not distribute your images or attachments to our news partners. If you have important images that you need to showcase as part of your press release, include them in your story as part of a downloadable URL from your website.

Video

Our $89 and above distribution package allows you to upload one 2 minute video. Your video is embedded in your press release and is only viewable on the 24-7 website. We do not distribute your video to our news partners. If you have an important video that you need to showcase as part of your press release, we recommend that you upload it to YouTube and attach the URL link to your story.

Keyword Linking

Our $49 and above distribution package allow you the ability to add keyword links (see our formatting codes). Your keyword links will only appear on the 24-7 website. You will not find these keyword links on our news partner websites. As a good practice, you should always have fully clickable links appearing in your story. Example: For more information visit http://www.mywebsite.com Many of our news partners will automatically convert a URL or Email address into an active link.

Making Changes to your Press Release

Note: When you submit your changes online, you will not be to view your changes until our editor has approved them.

Making Changes Before Your Release Date

Changes can be made to your story up to 3 hours before your story is published. The cut-off time for changes is 9:00 pm PST for stories running the next day. Stories are released at midnight (12:00am). If you pass this cut-off time, the old version of your story will be published.

Making Changes On or After Your Release Date

If you make changes to your story after it is released, the changes will only be reflected on the 24-7 website. We will be unable to update your story on our news partner’s websites. Your old version of the story will continue to be displayed. If you have an important change, ensure that it is made by the cut-off time of 9:00pm PST before the release is distributed.

About Uploading Images

When you upload images or attachments, you will not be able to preview them in the release until they are approved by our editor. For images, it is best to resize them to a smaller size. We recommend 800 by 600 pixels. Your image will appear as a thumbnail in the release and when clicked on, the image will expand to its full size. Images too large will appear awkward to the reader.

You will encounter an upload error if your image file size exceeds 500k or if your image is not properly named. When naming your image file, do not leave a space in your file name.

Wrong file name: my image file.jpg

Correct file name: image_file_name.jpg or imagefilename.jpg

Retracting Your Story

Once your story is distributed, we cannot retract it. It will live in cyberspace. Your story can only be deleted from the 24-7 website.

Quick Do’s and Don’t

Do

• Put in the City, State in the dateline. This appears at the start of your press release body. If you do not include the City State in the dateline, we will use the one from the Contact Information.
• Put your media contact information at the bottom of the release. This ensures that your media contact is always visible – especially when stories are republished.

Don’t

• Use all CAPITALS for your headline. Use Capitalized Case.
• Put “For Immediate Release” and media contact at the top of the release. Place your media contact information at the bottom of your story.
• Use excessive exclamation marks!!!! Please avoid them.
