/24-7PressRelease/ - CALIFORNIA CITY, CA, June 25, 2006 - The gatherings of "aviation enthusiasts" are called "Fly-In Fun", and will take place at dozens of smaller airports interested in promoting general aviation and attracting new visitors and customers.

The mission of WestCoastPilots.org and its online voice "Aviation World USA" is to "promote general aviation information & education", Pierre A. Kandorfer says who is in charge of executing the airport shows. Kandorfer is a commercial pilot and journalist, newspaper reporter - as well as aviation and PR consultant. His company West Airways Inc. at the California City municipal airport (airport identifier L71) is administering the planning and organization for the pilot group. West Airways Inc. produced i. e. 52 episodes of the "Aviation Television" series televised on dozens of cable stations.

The "Fly-In Fun" events comprise a mix between informal fly-in gatherings and traditionally organized aviation and trade shows. All interested airports will have the opportunity to present themselves by offering tours and presentations. Additionally, aviation companies of all kinds are going to have their opportunity to show and demonstrate their products from new airplanes - to the latest avionics and pilot gear. Of course, interesting airplanes such as classics are supposed to be on display also.

The admission for general public, aviation enthusiasts, and pilots and aircraft owners is free. Only participating airports and companies interested to show, demonstrate, and promote their products or services, must pay a modest sponsorship fee. A number of California airports already stated their interest and commitment to participate.
