NEW OIL FLOWS FROM OLD WELLS WITH NEW TECHNOLOGY
-- Hobson Secondary Oil demonstration is huge success --

/24-7PressRelease/ - TORONTO, CANADA, December 14, 2006 - Today SRG President Jack McCaine announced that the new steam injection process developed and patented by Hobson Secondary Oil is "nothing short of amazing" as a recent demonstration on a capped well in Arkansas was a huge success and went flawlessly. The well which was capped for almost 12 years was flowing again after only 48 hours of being serviced by Hobson Secondary Oil, a small company that is doing big things for the oil industry. "We had no paraffin problems, and the migration and flow rates were higher than anything I've seen in the last five years" said McCaine.

The patented Hobson process, unlike other similar technology used by Ivanhoe, uses much high temperatures and pressures without a costly and stationary steam injection plant. "Their unit is 100% mobile and can service a well down to 12,000 feet in less than 24 hours and drive off to do another. A non-disclosure agreement prohibits the disclosure of specific details but their 100% green technology is a mere fraction of the cost of Ivanhoe, and produces flow rates that are 20%-30% better."

The Hobson family recently turned down a $50 million buy-out offer from an undisclosed industry giant and has chosen instead to pursue joint ventures in North America with independent well owners on a contingency basis, and with exclusive licensing outside of North America.

Unfortunately the Hobson process does not work on gas wells. Their fees are contingent upon performance and their obligations ends when the oil flows leaving the extraction costs up to the well owner. Although the prototype truck works flawlessly the manual process is now being computerized and further research over the next year is hoped to extend depths down to 20,000 feet.

Strategic Resource Group is now scheduling further demonstrations for prospective joint venture and licensing partners as well as private well owners. Only inquiries from actual well owners, fund managers, and accredited investors will be processed by email, phone, or fax. Both Hobson Secondary Oil and Strategic Resource Group are privately held companies.
