Rock Your World Concert Raises $40K for Haiti and Women's Charities

    CARY, NC, May 09, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On a pleasant Friday evening under a big tent in front of RallyPoint Sport Grill, hundreds of music fans and supporters gathered for the Fourth Annual Rock Your World free benefit concert featuring Davis Messina Band, Band of Brothers and Sidewinder. Organizers announced that the event raised more than $40,000 for Hope for Haiti Foundation and Dew4Him Ministries.

In addition to great music, the May 2 event featured emcee Gerald Owens of WRAL, celebrity bartenders, a huge silent auction, prizes and more. One-hundred percent of proceeds will be distributed to the two charity organizations.

Hope for Haiti Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in North Carolina and a licensed Haiti NGO, with volunteers and supporters all over the United States and Haiti. The Foundation's work impacts individual Haitians, empowering them to act and change their own nation. Already, there are native Haitians making a difference as nurses, ministers and teachers. Dew4Him Ministries exists to serve women who have found themselves in less than desirable life circumstances and are challenged by past choices that have created significant barriers to a successful life.
