Outside of her work in the civilian sector, she previously earned distinction for over two decades as a member of the United States Army, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve, during which time she advanced to the rank of master sergeant and held various positions as an education services specialist, human resources director, and staff administrator.
Dr. Bliven's academic background has played a crucial role in her professional achievements. Beginning at Arizona State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in 1989, she went on to study communication, public speaking, and marketing at West Virginia University, from which she attained a Master of Arts in 1990. Following this accomplishment, she continued her journey online at Colorado Technical University, receiving an MBA in 2010. Dr. Bliven subsequently graduated from the College of Business and Economics at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater in 2021 with a Doctor of Business Administration.
Dr. Bliven's commitment to community service is evident through her involvement with civic-minded organizations. She has shared her knowledge as a speaker for CIBN Presents "Networking with Dr. AnnaMaria Bliven." Additionally, she is proud to have helped nearly 500 workers transition from office roles to remote work so they could remain at home with their families. She led a non-profit organization, "Onward and Upward" with a 33 volunteer force, and assisted 100 homeless people to never be homeless again. Likewise, she has contributed to literature in her field with publications like "Everything You Need to Know About Making a Memorable and Meaningful Presentation" and "Get A Real Job Online."
