With professional experience in the public and private sectors, Mr. Flowers excels in the field of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategic equity investments and corporate procurement. Mr. Flowers received his Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration from Georgetown University and his Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, where he earned the Don K. Price Award for academic excellence and public service. He is a board member of the United Way of Delaware and serves as chairman of its Alexis de Tocqueville Society. He has or currently serves on the board of directors of the American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula, Opera Delaware, the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation, the Nehemiah Gateway Community Development Corporation and the Kuumba Academy Charter School. In addition, he served as chair and chairman emeritus of the Multicultural Judges and Lawyers Section of the Delaware State Bar Association and sits on the board of advisors of Trustees of Color. Mr. Flowers serves on the Elections Committee of the National Bar Association and he is also the Chief Democratic Analyst for WHYY's Delaware Tonight television news show.
