Worldwide Who's Who Names Vickie L. Proksch Professional of the Year in Business Management

    INDIANAPOLIS, IN, September 28, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Vickie L. Proksch, President of Creative Laboratory Products, Inc., has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Business Management. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

With 10 years of professional experience, Mrs. Proksch began her career working for physicians, an OB/GYN for 16 resident doctors and high risk doctors, and for a cardiologist in the health care industry. She also ran a staffing agency for 300 staff nurses before she came to work with Dr. Gary, who later became her husband. Dr. Gary is an accomplished biochemist who has written many patents dealing with rare blood diseases and founded, Creative Laboratory Products, Inc., which is a medical manufacturing company that provides quality control additives for the diagnostic industry. But after he developed cancer in 2004, Mrs. Proksch took over the major business operations of the company by assuming the position of president. Very intrigued with the work her husband conducted, she draws on her determination, knowledge and her personal journey with her husband to drive the success of the business and produce products that help patients improve their quality of life.

As the president of the company, she assists her husband, who is still the senior adviser, with running the daily operations of the business, managing customer service and marketing, handling accounts payable and receivable, catering to the needs of staff, ordering supplies, and attending conferences and seminars.

Her goals for the future are to develop her company into the best business in the medical manufacturing industry and expand her customer base.

She is a member of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, Indy Humane Society, The American Legion, and National Association of Professional Women.
