Leah Brenda Smith Hosts a Weekly Online Radio Show and Envisions a Peaceful, Loving World



    OTTAWA, ON, CANADA, June 14, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Leah Brenda Smith, Health and Wellness Specialist, Certified Reiki Master, and Radio Show Host of Come Back to Your Senses Radio, has been named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who. The versatile Ms. Smith has 30 years of professional experience specializing in the energy based healing modalities of Reiki, Bone Medicine, and Craniosacral Therapy; and providing Snoezelen and specialized relaxation techniques for people with developmental and others disabilities. Ms. Smith's pursuit of consciousness began in 1972 through her training with the Institute of Applied Metaphysical. Since that time she has studied, practiced, and taught many conventional—and some not-so-conventional—approaches to religion, philosophy, meditation, movement, and energy-based healing modalities. For instance, she developed Bone Medicine, a natural healing art that, she explains, is "a way of waking up the body and coming into full partnership with its inherent intelligence, wisdom, and spirit." She has also served as a freelance sign language interpreter for the deaf and Judaic program supervisor for people with developmental disabilities, helping them to celebrate Jewish life. Ms. Smith is a natural at providing hands-on care. She attributes her success to a variety of factors, including her perseverance, creativity, trust in inner guidance, and the support and encouragement she has received from her mentors.

Ms. Smith is pursuing a Ministers Bachelor's Degree in metaphysics at the University of Sedona and holds membership with the American Association of Multi-Sensory Environments and The International Women's Leadership Association. She has received an Award of Excellence for Judaic Programming, honors from her Multidisciplinary Program for the Terminally Ill, and accolades from her students and clients. Looking toward the future, Ms. Smith envisions writing books on personal and spiritual development.
