For instance, she developed Bone Medicine, a natural healing art that, she explains, is "a way of waking up the body and coming into full partnership with its inherent intelligence, wisdom, and spirit." She has also served as a freelance sign language interpreter for the deaf and Judaic program supervisor for people with developmental disabilities, helping them to celebrate Jewish life. Ms. Smith is a natural at providing hands-on care. She attributes her success to a variety of factors, including her perseverance, creativity, trust in inner guidance, and the support and encouragement she has received from her mentors.

Ms. Smith is pursuing a Ministers Bachelor's Degree in metaphysics at the University of Sedona and holds membership with the American Association of Multi-Sensory Environments and The International Women's Leadership Association. She has received an Award of Excellence for Judaic Programming, honors from her Multidisciplinary Program for the Terminally Ill, and accolades from her students and clients.
