Backed by decades of practiced experience, Mr. White has excelled as a motion graphics designer for "Nightline" on ABC since 2007. He found success on the production of "Late Show with David Letterman" on CBS as the art director between 1993 and 2002 and a prior position as a graphic designer on "Late Night with David Letterman" on NBC between 1985 and 1993. He designed Letterman's marquee for the Ed Sullivan Theater and the logo design for "The Late Show with David Letterman" in 1993. Likewise, Mr. White worked as an illustrator for "Saturday Night Live" on NBC from 1985 to 1993. He illustrated for Newsweek in 1999, New York Times in 1993, "Between the Lions" on PBS and "Court TV" in 1999.

Notable as an instructor at Tony Randall's National Actors Theatre in New York City from 1997 to 2003, Mr. White was a lecturer on digital media for the School of Visual Arts 2004-2006 and the Katharine Gibbs School from 2004-2007. He was an adjunct professor of digital effects and animation to the CADA Graduate Program at New York University 2005-2009. He worked as a motion graphics designer on "The Colbert Report" for Comedy Central in 2005. He is the creator of the "5 Questions" title animation for "The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn" in 2001. Mr. White is a co-creator of the show title package redesign for "Nightline" in 2014 and 2018.

Lauded for his expert use of color in a number of mediums, Mr. White has painted throughout his career, transitioning from traditional paint and canvas to digital painting. Mr. White grew up in vacationland - sunny South Florida. His entire psyche and what he paints is about vacation, and exploring the places of his memories - depicting people and activities. beaches, pools, and lakes - places for relaxation and healing inspire his work. The light and colors in nature serve as his palette. Mr. White's current paintings are created digitally; quick strokes painted in plein-air, his finger acts as both paintbrush and palette.

Prior to embarking upon his professional path, Mr. White has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Parsons School of Design in 1983. Mr. White was certified in art history by the American University of Paris in 1982. In order to remain aware of changes in his areas of expertise, he is affiliated with the Communications Workers of America and the Broadcast Designers Association. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of his involvement in the principal works for "The Late Show with David Letterman" and the Ed Sullivan Theater marquee design and logo. In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. White has accrued various accolades, including an Emmy Contribution Award for "Late Night with David Letterman" from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in 1986 and 1987, including an Emmy Award nomination in 1994 for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Graphic Design. He has received a George Foster Peabody Award for Overall Excellence, ABC News in 2014 and 2015, and the esteemed Edward R. Murrow Award for Overall Excellence in Television and Radio in 2014, 2015 and 2016. He is featured in myriad editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who in Entertainment. Looking toward the future, Mr. White intends to shift his career path toward painting full-time in a studio as opposed to his work in a television studio while remaining open to continue his efforts as an educator.
