Bojan Kuure has been the director of surgical services at Island Hospital for 26 years. Her expertise lies in operating room and anesthesia nursing as well as operating room management. She is known for her expertise in maintaining procedural flow in the operating room.

Ms. Kuure, earned her Registered Nurse degree and completed research on open-heart procedures including bypass surgeries in her native Finland.
