MOUNT OLIVE, IL, July 2, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- M/Sgt. Tonya J. Goldasich, Master Sergeant for the Illinois State Police, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of law enforcement.

Master Sergeant Goldasich has 24 years of professional experience in field training young state troopers and patrolling and supervising a squad of six to eight officers and is currently the District 18 Field Training Supervisor. She is also a juvenile coordinator for the district and attributes her success to her parents who encouraged and supported her, and instilled her with a determination to succeed. In 1997, she received the Volunteer of the Year Award from Illinois Mothers Against Drunk Driving and was president of the State of Illinois chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Master Sergeant Goldasich received her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Marshall University in 1983.
