WILMINGTON, DE, July 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eric C. Pfeffer, Assistant Superintendent at the DuPont Country Club, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of recreational management.

As the Assistant Superintendent at the DuPont Country Club, Mr. Pfeffer is responsible for setting up daily jobs, implementing fertilizer and chemical programs and application, managing staff, and overseeing inventory and cart maintenance using best management practices and IPM (Integrated Pest Management) While in high school, he worked at a golf course and was surprised to find his niche in recreation. He attributes his success to his hard work and keeping up to date on changes and advancements in the industry.

Mr. Pfeffer received his Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Environmental Science from Delaware Valley College in 2005 and is a member of the Philadelphia Association of Golf Course Superintendents and the Golf Course Superintendent Association of America. He intends to become the head superintendent of his own country club or golf course.
