KITTY HAWK, NC, November 4, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dick Quible, Retired Founder of Quible & Associates, PC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in consulting.

Respected for his expertise in structural engineering, Mr. Quible enjoyed a fruitful 50 years in his industry. He concluded his career as the head of his own eponymous environmental consulting firm in 1998. During his time at Quible & Associates, he designed and oversaw civil and environmental protection projects, and managed solar science and water treatment facilities. He also designed and supervised site work improvements on roads, dams and bridges in six Southeastern states and in the Eastern Coastal areas. Mr. Quible attributes his success and longevity to his diligence and faith in God.

Mr. Quible received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1953 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Since 2003, he has been actively raising money for the endowment fund of the Virginia Tech University Library, where he sits as co-chair, along with his wife Jean, of the National Campaign Steering Committee for Virginia Tech: Invent the Future. He is also actively involved with Kiwanis Club and Blacksburg Baptist Church. Mr. Quible looks forward to continuing his fundraising activities for his alma mater.
