She manages Collins Boring, her own contracting and construction company that specializes in drilling, boring and casing. As the president, she oversees operations and supervises on-site boring and the handling and maintenance of equipment. Ms. Collins became involved in her profession in 2005 when she took over the business that her husband had started. She attributes the success that she is enjoying as an entrepreneur to striving to set an example for other women.
