PHARR, TX, March 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Miguel A. Ahumada, Faith Community Outreach Project Director for the Pharr Literacy Project, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in community outreach.

As the faith community outreach project director for the Pharr Literacy Project, Mr. Ahumada is responsible for creating leadership teams in Hispanic communities and developing programs focused on health, education and faith. Born in Aguascalientes, Ags, Mexico into a family of 14 children, his family was a close-knit group with a wide range of interests and skills including drama and music. In addition to his community outreach work, he is a composer, songwriter and author. He attributes his success to his ability to understand and work well with others.

A graduate of Lagos University, Mr. Ahumada received his Master's Degree in Theological Studies in 2003 and his Bachelor of Science in Theological Studies in 2000. He intends to expand his community outreach to other countries including Panama.
