PLACENTIA, CA, June 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jack L. Eckles, Consultant for the McKellar Corporation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in his career.

Mr. Eckles has 30 years of overall professional experience. As a consultant for the McKellar Corporation, he is responsible for executive security management, and developing strategies, curricula and training programs for the department of defense. Prior to his current position, he worked as the director of corporate security at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

In 1988, Mr. Eckles joined the United States Army. He is a trained Green Beret, and has been deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. Additionally, he has done joint exercises in Japan, Ukraine, Thailand and Indonesia. He received the Bronze Star Medal in 2006, and the Purple Heart Award in 2005.

A recipient of the Security Director of the Year Award by Security Magazine in 2006, Mr. Eckles is a member of The American Legion. He is affiliated with the Special Forces Association, the 82nd Airborne Division Association, the Reserve Officers Association, and the American Society for Industrial Security International.

Mr. Eckles completed coursework in 2002 at the United States Army Command and General Staff College. He earned his JD in 1997, and his Bachelor of Science in Law in 1996, from Pacific West College of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 1983 from California State University at Los Angeles.
