A landlady, farmwife, mother and grandmother, Elizabeth A. Billings is well-acquainted with the intricacies of management and organization. She currently rents out three units for which she personally screens tenants, performs background checks, collects rent, performs and oversees maintenance, and handles advertising when needed. Mrs. Billings brings to her property management work the experience that she gained helping her husband, his parents and his brother run the family farm. She considers dealing with people on a regular basis to be the most enjoyable aspect of what she does. She attributes her success to the dedication and hard work that her parents had instilled in her.

The matriarch of a large household, Mrs. Billings enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. When she is not working, she actively raises funds for Allegany County Cancer Services, which was formed to serve only her county, as a tribute to her parents, both of whom suffered from the disease; her mother lost her battle in 2003. She also volunteers at the SPCA theme basket auction every year.

In addition, Mrs. Billings is a member of the Wellsville Area Business and Professional Women's Club and the auxiliary at Jones Memorial Hospital, for which she recently sold tickets to a chicken barbecue. She looks forward to participating in this year's Country Fair as a throwback to the days she and her sisters would help out with Halloween parties, chicken barbecues and other activities at the local fire hall. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and photography.
