BOCA RATON, FL, March 30, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The electrifying Student Showcase Red Carpet of Films awards show, will present $12,500 in awards and prizes to winning film student entries on April 6, 2018, at the Wold Performing Arts Center at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.
Legendary actor, Burt Reynolds will present the Burt Reynolds' scholarship and TV star/rap icon, Vanilla Ice, will bestow the Music Video Award. Both he and Vanilla Ice are to be featured among other SURPRISE celebrity presenters announced closer to show time.
A live "Video Game" theme with popular "oldies" like Pac-Man, Mario, Donkey Kong and others will be hosted by actor, entertainer and star of CBS Blue Bloods and PBS South Florida's On the Town in The Palm Beaches, Frank Licari. More surprises will magically appear in the lobby for pre-show fun!

The Palm Beach International Film Festival's Student Showcase of Films (SSOF) is the largest statewide film competition and award show, presenting over $1.6 million over its lifetime to students enrolled in Florida high school and college film, television, graphic design and digital media programs.
