As the company's senior DPO, Mr. Rowe utilizes his expertise in marine drilling operations to manage computer systems and reference systems, and maintain a safe navigational watch in transit and drilling mode. He also monitors detection and alarm instrumentation pertaining to fire, smoke, gas and leaks, implements corrective action when specified criteria are met, and verifies that instruments are calibrated.
Mr. Rowe was inspired to pursue a career in marine drilling operations by the experience and knowledge he gained while attending the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, from which he graduated in 2004. In the years to come, he looks forward to experiencing continued growth in his field.
