Kathy's role is critical to all patient service operations and ensures that patient care is the primary focus for her team.

Kathy attributes her success to the flexibility, adaptability, and sense of humor she learned through experience as a wife and mother. There, she managed a household of very independent, fearless, and creative individuals. She attributes many of her life skills, including patience, wisdom, and a sense of humor, to her father Clifford Brookshier, an amazing spirit and role model.

Kathy is a true success story. She started at the bottom and worked her way up. She became involved in the healthcare industry as a courier transporting samples from physician offices to the laboratory. She continued to learn and gain expertise in multiple disciplines in the clinical laboratory business, which resulted in her present role as a Director.

Throughout the years, Kathy has completed executive coaching, management training, and seminars to improve her effectiveness and efficiency in her current role. Kathy earned a Six Sigma Green Belt and maintained it for 5 years. In years to come, she plans to be involved as an advisor and consultant. Her goal is to seek greater challenges and share her knowledge.
