MESA, AZ, May 25, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Terry A. Huff, MD, Medical Doctor for Desert Rose OB/GYN, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in obstetrics.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Huff has built on an abundant skill set, which now enables him to shine as a medical professional. At the helm of his health care clinic, Dr. Huff oversees obstetrics, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, and labor and delivery, and serves as a chairman of the obstetrics and gynecology department at Banner Baywood Medical Center. He is also on the Banner Consensus Committee which develops obstetrics practice policies for the Banner Hospital system.

Dr. Huff is a practicing obstetrician and gynecologist. He has traveled the world as a volunteer in Peru, Ecuador, Poland, Africa, Romania and the Philippines, working in schools and medical clinics. He and his wife, Dr. Lisa Rose Huff, run their practice, Desert Rose OB/GYN, together. He attributes his success to his hard work, efficiency, and ability to manage his time and his patients' time well. Dr. Huff became involved in his profession because he has always wanted to give back to society and do work that was intellectually challenging. He enjoys the feeling he receives from helping others and giving back.

Dr. Huff received an MD from Tufts University, Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Colorado, Denver, Colorado. He also obtained a License to Practice Medicine in the State of Arizona. He is a member of the American Medical Association, and a Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Over the course of an illustrious career, Dr. Huff has made major milestones, one of these was receiving recognition among the Top Doctors in Arizona. In five years, Dr. Huff hopes to participate in medical work in third-world countries. He hopes to spend more time helping the needy around the world.
