Dental Sleep Medicine, TMD and Orofacial Pain Specialist Helps Dentists Through Lectures

    ATLANTA, GA, July 12, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- To further help dentists improve their knowledge and understanding of Dental Sleep Medicine, TMD and Orofacial Pain, Dr. Mayoor Patel provides educational lectures. As a lecturer, Dr. Patel maintains the ability to help other dentists better understand these various topics so that they, too, can provide the same superior dental care in their dental office.

Previously, Dr. Patel held a lecture about, "Implementing DSM into Your GP Practice." He also participated in three-part mini-residency on dental sleep medicine in Atlanta, GA. The first session was held in April, while the second session was held in May. The third and final AACP Sleep Mini Residency is being held this weekend, July 11-12. In addition to the third session of the TMD and Dental Sleep Medicine Mini Residency, dentists can join Dr. Patel on August 1, 2014 in Denver, Colorado to learn more about Pharmacology. On September 19th and 20th, dentists can attend the first part of a three-part series on Dental Sleep Medicine and TMD-From Diagnosis to Application. The second session will take place on November 7th and 8th. The third and final session will be held on January 23rd and 24th. About Mayoor Patel, DDS, MS: Dr. Mayoor Patel received his dental degree from the University of Tennessee in 1994 and completed a one year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). He also earned his Masters in Science from Tufts University in 2011 and accepted a position as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the Craniofacial Pain Center at Tufts Dental School. Dr. Patel also serves as Adjunct Clinical Instructor in the Department of Oral Health and Diagnostic Sciences at the Georgia Regents University, College of Dental Medicine in Augusta Georgia.
