Western N.C. Attorney, Motorcyclist Jason E. Taylor Sponsors Shotgun Competition for Veterans

    CHARLOTTE, NC, June 20, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Law Offices of Jason E. Taylor and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 15-5 are sponsoring a shotgun shooting competition as a benefit for the Combat Vets Association on Saturday, June 20.

The day's event will be held at the Old Hickory Rifle and Pistol Club in Bostic, N.C., which is in Rutherford County northeast of Forest City. For a $35 fee, up to 100 participants will receive a box of shells and lunch and be able to compete in 5-stand, trap, skeet and wobble trap shooting competitions. Awards will be presented for first, second, third and worst efforts.

"We hope this becomes an annual day of fun, friendly competition and camaraderie among veterans and others who support our veterans," said Taylor, a personal injury lawyer with offices in Charlotte and Hickory.

Onsite registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and is followed by lunch at noon, a safety briefing at 12:45 p.m., and the start of competition at 1 p.m. Pre-registration is encouraged by contacting the Law Offices of Jason E. Taylor at 800-351-3008.

Proceeds will be donated to the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association.

Taylor is a lifelong sportsman and a member of the National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited, American Motorcyclist Association, Harley Owners Group (Charlotte, Hickory), Concerned Bikers Association, Bikers for Bikers Foundation and Motorcycle Riders Foundation.

As an attorney, Taylor focuses much of his work on personal injury cases seeking compensation for riders injured in motorcycle accidents.

The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is a nonprofit organization with member from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. The CVA sponsors and/or participates in charity events to raise money for various veterans' care facilities and veterans' charities.

Chapter 15-5 of the CVA is one of seven in North Carolina, with chapter membership from the Mooresville / Winston-Salem area, which includes Hickory.
