Volunteer Researchers Needed to Help Nonprofit Complete Public Wiki of Dog Breeding Laws

National Alliance for Dog Breeding Reform VP of Research Rita Rice Reports 39 States Completed

We expect that eventually the Wiki will become a single source for dog breeding laws in any jurisdiction in the United States." ---Ron Sturgeon, NADBR Founder and Sr. VP

FORT WORTH, TX, February 16, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The National Alliance for Dog Breeding Reform believes that greater awareness of existing dog breeding laws can help to make dog breeding better for the dogs.

Making the laws and regulations easy to find online will help inexperienced dog breeders follow the law and help anyone else who wants to know the laws and rules that cover dog breeding..

"We're well on the way to creating a publicly editable Wiki that will be the go to source for dog breeding laws in every state, said Rita Rice, NADBR's VP of Research and a breeder of champion Borzoi.

Rice said that the scope of work has been completed and the laws for 39 states have been catalogued. "Right now, we need volunteer researchers to help us finish the final 11 states. "Anyone with basic computer skills can help," said Rice.

NADBR has finalized the scope of work and is soliciting bids from web development companies to build the new Wiki-based website.

"We are looking forward to getting the site live and inviting people to add local breeding laws so that eventually the Wiki will become a single source for dog breeding laws in any jurisdiction in the United States," said Ron Sturgeon, NADBR Senior VP and Founder.
