LOS ANGELES, CA, April 26, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This summer, the CAP "Close and Personal" Tour is proud to introduce The Creative Entrepreneur Workshop Series. A series that aims to teach, inspire and engage the future entrepreneurs of the Aboriginal community. The CAP Tour features three key entrepreneurs with incredible stories of hardships and successes who are behind startups that have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.

MEET THE PANEL:

Liam Massaubi, a Mohawk entrepreneur and consultant, multi-business investor, and co-founder of Kanati Co, a leading Canadian Aboriginal menswear label, retailer and manufacturer that has sold in over 14 countries. Liam is the son of a residential school survivor and is an Aboriginal business advocate/mentor who works closely with corporations who are committed to creating procurement opportunities for Aboriginal businesses.

Greg Selkoe, founder of Karmaloop, a world leader and multi-platform web retailer in street-wear clothing and new business venture, Curateurs, an eCommerce marketplace collaborating with key influential celebrities including Pharrell Williams, ASAP Ferg and Ryan Leslie among others. Greg is a father and an award-winning entrepreneur who is also the founder of the Future Boston Alliance, a group dedicated to improving cultural life in Boston.

Divine, a Hip-Hop artist turned tech entrepreneur created the platform BLAK (Building Leverage Acquiring Knowledge) to improve access, gain financial awareness, and provide a solution for people without bank accounts through a prepaid Visa debit card. Divine is a success story and living proof that nothing can hold you back in life. He went from being in a prison cell to changing his life around when he befriended billionaire VC, Ben Horowitz. Divine actively works to increase awareness for social issues and provide guidance for at-risk youth through charity.

The CAP Tour will begin July 16th, 2016 and lasting approximately 9 months with an estimated 150 stops in First Nation communities, casinos and conference centers. Each stop will consist of a panel discussion, the CAP workshop experience, Q&A's, and provide tips on everything from startups, business plans, and getting financing. The trio believes that a focus on entrepreneurship could help address the many pressing social issues facing the Aboriginal community. These hand-selected panelists are award-winning entrepreneurs, passionate about entrepreneurship and actively helping the youth. The workshops also offers attendees with the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals within their own community.

This incredible journey will be filmed as a docuseries that will showcase the tour, the strength, beauty and opportunity in the Aboriginal communities. With leaders and entrepreneurs wanting to create positive change, this series can help bring pressing social issues to light. With corporate and community sponsors, CAP will be able to inspire entrepreneurship, mentor select individuals with their future projects and put this event on at absolutely no cost to over 150 communities. Donations will provide the tour with giveaway packages intended to encourage entrepreneurial thinking and will range from backpacks filled with school supplies for children, startup capital for selected entrepreneurs, tablets and computers, business services, and other items of value to a new business person ready to take on the world. Giving back, inspiring creativity, and raising awareness for social causes is the key objectives of the CAP Entrepreneur Workshop Series.
