Dr. Puusepp-Benazzouz is a respected medical researcher and physician who hails from Tallin, Estonia. A graduate of the University of Tartu in Estonia, she holds an MD and a Ph.D. in pediatrics and genetics. She began her career as an ambulance physician for Tartu Kiirabi. After relocating to Australia in 2008, she worked as a hospital scientist for Pacific Laboratory Medicine Services (PaLMs) at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. She then brought her experience and expertise to Sydney's St. George Hospital, where she served as a physician.
Dr. Puusepp-Benazzouz is now affiliated with The Children's Hospital at Westmead, which is part of The Sydney Children's Hospital Network. She continues her work as physician and researcher, and serves as pediatric registrar as well. To date, she has written and contributed to a number of medical publications in her field of molecular genetics and pediatrics.
