"Our assistants have to be friendly and capable. They're all great people to be around and I think our patients agree."
HOUSTON, TX, September 28, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- When first opening the doors to the original CORE Chiropractic location on Saint James Place, Drs. Natalie and Philip Cordova hoped they would see the day when they could bring on additional doctors to mentor and to serve more people in the Galleria area of Houston, TX.
At the end of their first year, they brought on one additional chiropractor and a second chiropractic assistant to handle patient flow. "We want to help as many patients as we can in a no-wait, but non-hurried way. In order to give to be the best Houston chiropractic office we can be, we had to bring on additional staff," said Dr. Natalie Cordova.
With the growth leading to their second location, having an Energy Corridor location meant they couldn't be at both places. Dr. Kevin Wafer stepped up to become the clinic director at CORE Chiropractic in the Energy Corridor and he was able to bring some of the original location's staff members with him.
"Adding the new location didn't mean a significant drop off in our original location. Luckily, we already had two great chiropractors on board. Hiring more assistants was the logical next step," said Dr. Philip Cordova.
Between the two locations, CORE Chiropractic now employs three chiropractors (in addition to the owners), five chiropractic assistants, one full-time community outreach assistant, and one part-time assistant. Keeping the team operating at a high level means lots of training.
"We want to have a positive impact on our employees as much as our patients," said Dr. Natalie Cordova, "and that means we have to keep pouring our knowledge into them every chance we get. We've been chiropractors for nearly 20 years, and we have a lot to share with our team."
"Our doctors are interviewed the toughest, I think," said Dr. Philip Cordova, "We interview them several times and, of course, they have to adjust us. I trust our chiropractors to help any of our patients. We wouldn't be able to do our best work if they couldn't."
The newest addition to the team, Janie Gutierrez, has been a welcome addition to the team. She was selected from hundreds of candidates vying for the chance to work at the Houston Chiropractic office. "Our assistants have to be friendly and capable. They're all great people to be around and I think our patients agree," said Dr. Natalie Cordova.
More information about Janie and up-to-date information from the office can be found on the CORE Chiropractic Facebook page.
