Dr. Felix-Martin Werner Honored by Marquis Who's Who for Excellence in Neuroscience

    THURINGIA, GERMANY, October 28, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Felix-Martin Werner has been included in Marquis Who's Who. An expert in the development and function of the nervous system, Dr. Werner has dedicated his career to researching and treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nerve cells. He is backed by more than 30 years of expertise in the field of neuroscience, during which time he has been an instrumental member of the teams at the Institute of Neuroscience Castilla and Leon in Salamana, Spain, and at Euro Akademie Pobneck in Germany. In his current role as team leader with Euro Akademie, Dr. Werner is involved with geriatric disorders -- in fact, he notably formed the facility's elderly care assistance center. In recognition of professional excellence over three decades, Dr. Werner was selected for inclusion in the 33rd edition of Who's Who in the World.

Dr. Werner earned an MD from Hardtberg-Gymnasium of Bonn in 1983. In 1991, he achieved a second medical degree from the University of Bonn. As he developed his prominence in the field, Dr. Werner felt compelled to share his expertise and insights on a larger scale. To do so, he authored a number of publications and articles on various topics. His recent publications include reports on the new developments in the management of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and Cariprazine's ability to help treat these disorders. Additionally, Dr. Werner is regarded for articles on neurotransmitter and neuropeptide alterations in cases of major depression and Parkinson's disease. His publications have achieved national acclaim, as he was honored with the ALPSP Award for innovation in publishing and the NEPCO Award.

As he looks to the future, Dr. Werner intends to continue working in the field of neuroscience.
