Rollin Warner Recognized by Marquis Who's Who for Achievement in Education & Finance

    MANTECA, CA, December 06, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rollin Warner has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A former lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve, Mr. Warner boasts more than five decades of industry experience. His educational background spans more than 20 years and multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University, first year in law at Harvard University, an MBA from Stanford University, which he earned in 1960, a certificate in education administration, and a certificate from The College for Financial Planning.

After earning his MBA, Mr. Warner assumed a role as the assistant to the vice president of finance for Stanford University -- a position he held for three years. Subsequently, he worked as a history instructor for Town School in San Francisco. From 1972 to 1974, he served as the principal of Mount Tamalpais School in Ross, Calif., and the next year, he became the director of development for Katharine Branson School and Mount Tamalpais School. For more than 40 years now, Mr. Warner has served as the dean, as well as an instructor of economics, history and mathematics, at Town School.

A shining example of skill in his field, Mr. Warner has achieved much. In 1986, he was the recipient of the Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts of America. Nine years later, he won a medal from the Boys Alumni Council from Town School. In addition, he has been featured in Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the West and Who's Who in the World.
Mr. Warner is a member of IEEE, the American Economic Association, the American Historical Association, the U.S. Naval Institute, Marines Memorial Association, and the Association for Asian Studies. With regard to his personal efforts, he lends his time to the Boy Scouts of America in the San Francisco Bay Area Council, for which he has served in numerous positions since 1956.
