As a claims representative for Crum & Forster, Ms. Jorgenson manages insurance claims. She became a claims adjuster in 1997. She attributes her success to receiving support from her mentors.

Ms. Jorgenson is pursuing a bachelor's degree in general studies from the University of Phoenix through online education. She earned an associate in claims and an associate in insurance services. In the 1977-1978 school year, she studied at Amarillo College in Texas. She is a licensed insurance adjuster and a licensed worker's compensation adjuster in the states of Texas and Oklahoma.

Ms. Jorgenson is a member of the United States Fire Insurance Company, the North River Insurance Company, the Crum & Forster Indemnity Company, the Crum & Forster Specialty Insurance Company, and the Fairmont Specialty and Seneca Insurance Company.
