Payne, who has owned and operated the All Florida Truck Insurance, Inc. company for over a year and a half, has eleven years of experience as a commercial lines agent. She began her career in the insurance industry at Southco Insurance Services in 1989, and became a co-owner of that business in 1995, along with a partner who recently passed away. They ran Southco until 2006. As an avid advocate for women in the workplace - particularly in an environment where more men are employed - Payne actively recruits other women to work with her.

All Florida Truck Insurance Inc. offers several core services for contractors, large, over the road fleets as well as small owner operators. The company, which was established in 2006, handles liability coverage for long-haul and local commercial auto, heavy equipment, dump trucks, hazmat, loggers and mobile home toters, among others. Payne received a bachelor of science in accounting from East Tennessee State University in 1969. She is a member of the Professional Insurance Agents of Florida.
