/24-7PressRelease/ - Bardstown, KY, March 12, 2008, William E. Jones, Owner of Around the Town Carriage, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and distinction in all aspects of stagecoaching and local historic tourism.

As owner of Around the Town Carriage, Mr. Jones oversees all aspects and operations of his company and excels in stagecoaching. He provides horse drawn carriage, buggie and stagecoach touring through historic Bardstown, the "Bourbon Capital of the World." Part of his fleet includes a historically accurate replica of a 19th-century stagecoach, pulled by two horses. This particular stagecoach was built by Mr. Jones and tours along Kentucky's rural back roads.

Around the Town Carriage is celebrating over 20 years of touring with the Toast of Kentucky Trolley "1972." Scenic and walking tours and sight seeing are narrated by Mr. Jones. The slow-paced tours are available for any size group. Carriage rides are available for both day and night rides.

Bardstown is located 35 miles outside of Louisville and is home to two distilleries, Heaven Hill and Barton Brands, with several distilleries just a short drive away. The town offers several historic landmarks include St. Joseph's Basilica Catholic Church, the first Catholic Church west of the Allegheny Mountain Range, the Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History, My Old Kentucky Home Mansion at Federal Hill and the Old Talbot Tavern, a stage coach stop for those heading west in the late 1700's. Bardstown is the county seat for Nelson County.
