Marquis Who's Who Recognizes Richard R. Sylvester for 50 Years of Valuable Contributions to His Field

    SAN DIEGO, CA, February 16, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard Russell Sylvester has been included in Marquis Who's Who. With five decades of professional experience, Dr. Sylvester has served on the corporate staff of General Motors, Hughes Aircraft, and TRW, and on the division staff for Lockheed, General Dynamics, and Northrop. Currently, as the CEO of Sylvester Consulting Group, he is a mathematical economist with a specialty in valuation of intangible assets. He has been selected to serve as an expert witness in Federal District Court and the U.S. Court of Claims for Fortune 500 corporations. Major attorney firms, and the U/S. Treasury Department.

His capabilities were recognized in early years. At age 19, in 1957, he won national third place in the Fisher Body Craftsman's Guild auto design competition. At age 20, in 1958, he was hired by General Motors as a designer, as one of only 40 designers who were responsible for all products produced and sold by General Motors.

His education includes an MBA from USC, a Ph.D. in management and economics from UCLA, a J.D. in federal law from Loyola Law School, and postdoctoral research in engineering at UCLA. He served as a lecturer at UCLA, USC, and the University of Redlands, and served as an Associate Professor of Quantitative Methods at Pepperdine University.

He is the author of fourteen published books on economics and law. His current book The King Takes Your Castle, a treatise on U.S. Constitutional law, is distributed by Amazon and Ingram. Dr. Sylvester has won competitive grants from the Ford Foundation, General Motors, and the Regents of the University of California.
