Previously, in New York, he worked in prominent roles, including Chairman and CEO for Brouillard Communications, a division of J. Walter Thompson Company, for which he also served on the Board of Directors. He was also the Vice President of Public Affairs for Western Union Corporation. Mr. Foster has been a Board member and Chairman of the Board for Rocky Mountain PBS, of which he is presently Chairman Emeritus. He also served as Chairman of the Fort Lewis College Foundation and President of Music in the Mountains, Durango's classical music festival and conservatory. Mr. Foster earned a Bachelor of Arts from Drake University in 1955 and completed post graduate work in law.
