Sister Linda named an International Poet of Merit by the International Society of Poets

LEBANON, IL, April 13, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sister Linda has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Over the course of more than three decades, Sister Linda has dedicated herself to the Lord's work, giving to others less fortunate than herself. Since 2000, she has served as vocations director of the Sisters of Divine Providence, and a clinical supervisor in private practice. Sister Linda prepared for her endeavors by earning a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Arts from Fontbonne University. She also became a licensed clinical social worker and entered into the Sisters of Divine Providence in 1980. Throughout her career, she has been recognized many times for her professional accomplishments. In 2000, she was named to the TREND Hall of Fame, and two years later the International Society of Poets named her an International Poet of Merit.
