An alumna of Ohio State University, Ms. Rantze-Byrd holds a paralegal degree and a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and theater. Her professional affiliations include the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, the Screen Actors Guild, National Geographic, where she is a lifetime member, and various other wildlife foundations. Over the course of her career, she authored two books, "Trinity's Daughter," in 2004 and "UTOPIA, TEXAS," in 2008.
Notably, Ms. Rantze-Byrd has won numerous awards for her work, including the Best Fiction Writer's Award for her first novel through the Santa Barbara Writers Conference, the EVVY Award for her second book, and honorable mentions for her work in photography. She also won an award through the California State Senate for her commitment to preserving one of San Diego's greatest traditions, the San Diego County Fair, as an exhibition photographic competitor. Further, Ms. Rantze-Byrd been featured in numerous editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of American Women.
