Over the years, he held executive positions, such as vice president, president and general manager of C. Bruce Ficke Investments and Gateway, Inc. Mr. Trautner also served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1964, and is a licensed commercial pilot.
Mr. Trautner holds a Bachelor of Arts from Anchorage Community College, earned in 1968, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Alaska, earned in 1970, and an MBA, also from the University of Alaska, earned in 1998. His professional affiliations include the North America Nature Photographers Association, the Alaska Airmen's Association, and the American Legion. A patentee in the field of real estate, Mr. Trautner became a Melvin Jones Fellow in 1993. Additionally, he has been featured in Who's Who in Finance and Business, 14 editions of Who's Who in America, and seven editions of Who's Who in the World.
