In the mid-1980s, he started in the professional world in the department of engineering for Nassau Co., Ltd. After that, he worked for Woongbi Co., Ltd., in the department of instrumentation and at Insan Digichem Co., Ltd., where he developed UV cure acrylic foam tape. Now, he is a president of Gaya Co., ltd and his specialty is producing cold laminating films.

Over the years, Mr. Kwag has completed lots of up-to-date training through the Small and Medium Business Corporation in Korea in such areas as the professional technology of adhesive, planning, management, marketing, international trading, and job management. As a president of Gaya, he endeavors to apply professionalism to working environments through innovative technologies. As a result, he has developed various new technologies and was able to register several patents, which are adhesive film with superior adhesive property, detachability and manufacturing methods, and a device for manufacturing pearl coating films which are capable of protecting digital prints. Moreover, he was able to apply for two patents, which are manufacturing methods of hard-coating film with improved curling ability and high-strength. Mr. Kwag is also a member of NTIS (National Science & Technology Service ) where he tries to interact with timely technologies and information.
