In her 30+-year professional tenure, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings and developed numerous areas of expertise that has allowed her to provide top of the line therapeutic care to her clients. Ms. Prema's extensive experience includes work in a private psychotherapy practice, family and military life consultant on bases in the USA, Europe and Japan, and psychotherapist for various hospitals and mental health programs in the San Francisco Bay area. In recognition of her professional excellence in her career, Ms. Prema was selected for inclusion into Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of American Women.

Ms. Prema entered her profession because she felt that she was given the life experience and educational skills to help others transform and find more happiness. Her natural compassion into a professional skillset, she prepared for her career by achieving an Associate of Science from Santa Rosa Junior College in 1977, a Bachelor of Arts from Sonoma State University in 1980 and a Master of Arts from the Professional School of Psychology in 1983. Ms. Prema is a licensed marriage and family therapist accredited by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, and formerly a psychiatric technician certified by the Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians. Considered an expert in her field, she has presented at various local, national and international conferences during her career. She is a Member of IAJS - International Association for Jungian Studies. As she looks to the future, because of her love of her profession, Ms. Prema intends to continue her work as a therapist while taking on new projects in her chosen field as she expands her interests.
