JACKSON, MI, June 22, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jacqueline Ryder Livesay has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A seasoned educator and musician, Ms. Livesay is celebrated for more than four decades of contributions in her field. Since the turn of the century, she has held the roles of director of children's music and organist at First United Methodist Church, director of music at First Presbyterian Church, director of the Jackson Chorale Children's Choir, and adjunct music instructor at Spring Arbor University and Albion College; she maintains all of these roles today. In previous years, Ms. Livesay was an organist and minister of music for Trinity United Methodist Church, where she contributed from 1977 to 2003.

Prior to entering the field in a professional capacity, Ms. Livesay earned a Bachelor of Music from Westminster Choir College, a Master of Music from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Arts in education from Spring Arbor University. Throughout her career, she has been recognized many times for her work. She was named Outstanding Elementary Educator by Jackson Public Schools in 2001, and has been featured in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of American Education. In her spare time, Ms. Livesay enjoys giving back philanthropically through institutions such as the Tuesday Musical Association and the Jackson Symphony Guild.
