A graduate of the University of Denver and the College of Wooster, Mr. Sites holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Science, and a JD. In order to keep active within his professional circles, he affiliates himself with the Ohio State Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association. An expert in his field, Mr. Sites has co-edited the OHA Hospital Law Handbook since 2005.

Over his many years in the field, he has earned many awards for his professional endeavors, such as the Energy Efficiency Leadership Award through AEP Ohio, the Innovation Award through the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, and the Rosie Hass Advisory Award through the Northwest Ohio Hemophilia Foundation. Since the mid-1980s, Mr. Sites has also been featured in numerous volumes of Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who in American Politics, and Who's Who in American Law.
