Charles Eberly Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who

Backed by nearly 55 years of industry experience, Dr. Eberly worked in numerous roles for Eastern Illinois University, including the positions of assistant professor of educational psychology, coordinator of the graduate program in college student affairs, professor of counseling and student development, and emeritus professor of the same subjects. Earlier in his career, he joined Wilmington College as an acting assistant dean of students. Subsequently, Dr. Eberly joined such universities as the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh and Michigan State University in a variety of educational and administrative roles.

A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Syracuse University, Michigan State University, Dr. Eberly holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, a Master of Science in Education, and a PhD in Higher Education. His professional affiliations included the Illinois and American Counseling Associations, the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, the Michigan and American College Personnel Associations, and the Michigan ACT Council, as well as many others. Throughout his career, he has contributed his knowledge to a number of creative works, including "Building and Maintaining the Chapter Library."

Over the course of many years, Dr. Eberly has been recognized on numerous occasions for his professional accomplishments. In addition to being named a Sigma Phi Epsilon Order of the Golden Heart, earning the Wilfred A. Butler Award through the Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values, and the Contribution to Student Affairs Through Teaching Award by Region IVE of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, Dr. Eberly has been featured in many editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the Midwest, and Who's Who in American Education.
