Lin Baum Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who

Ms. Baum has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the arts industry



    GARDEN CITY, MI, September 08, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to name Lin Baum a Lifetime Achiever. An accomplished listee, Lin Baum celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. With 35 years of professional experience under her belt, Ms. Baum is a former adjunct art professor for the Wayne County Community College District, and held an education position for Schoolcraft College. Earlier in her career, she began in the field as a painting instructor for the Downriver Painting Class. Subsequently, she held similar roles, including drawing instructor and art instructor and consultant for such institutions as Wayne County Community College District, Visual Services, Inc., the New York City Housing Authority, Mack Educational Service, and the Gibson School for Gifted Children. She considers herself a practicing artist who also taught.

A graduate of the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University, Ms. Baum holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, as well as a Master of Arts. Over the years, she has had the honor of having her work exhibited in solo exhibitions and group shows in Comerica Gallery, Artsource Gallery, Galerie Jacques, Scarab Club, the Livonia Fine Arts Festival, the Ella Sharp Museum of Art, and many more. Throughout her career thus far, she has given back to her community through such institutions as the Wayne County Council of Arts, the Michigan Coalition for Human Rights, the UN NGO Committee on Southern Africa, and the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.

Beyond her status as an esteemed and versatile artist, Ms. Baum has been recognized on many occasions for her professional accomplishments. Since 1995, Ms. Baum has been included in four editions each of Who's Who in America, and Who's Who of American Women.
