Mary Lou Swift Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who

Prior to working exclusively in the art world, Ms. Swift had spent close to 30 years in the finance industry, beginning as an administrative head of the syndicate department for Drexel Harriman Ripley. She later worked for several companies, including Fieldcrest Mills as a product manager and Rosenfeld Sirowitz Lawson and BBDO as an accountant supervisor before forming her own marketing consultant firm.

Ms. Swift later worked for Mabon Securities and Gerard Klauer Mattison as an institutional stockbroker. A former registered stockbroker of the New York Stock Exchange and the National Association of Securities Dealers, she also spent time as a consultant for Miller Tabak & Company, Inc., a firm specializing in options, from 1994 to 2006.

Ms. Swift has a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and later completed postgraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania, Leonard N. Stern School of Business at NYU, and the New York Institute of Finance. She was the recipient of two National Science Foundation Undergraduate Fellowships, working as a researcher in animal behavior at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC. Ms. Swift also was awarded the CLIO Advertising Award in 1974 for advertising excellence worldwide, and the ONE SHOW advertising award, also in 1974. She has also been named to 17 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in American, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of American Women.
