About Andrei Grigoryevich Aleinikov
A prominent and lauded figure in the fields of linguistics, education, creativity, and genius, Dr. Aleinikov founded his Mega-Innovative Mind International Institute (MIMII) and opened a School of Geniuses for children in 1995. The name of the Institute might look too long and confusing, but it was precise and scientific: actually, a genius IS a mega-innovative mind because a revolutionary idea that genius brings to this world multiplies in books, articles and citations million times, brings millions of innovations, saves millions of lives, and gets millions of recognitions from the grateful society. Examples are numerous: alphabet, x-Ray, electricity, telephone, TV, computer... Mega means a million (kilo = thousand, giga = billion). Only later, just to simplify the name, MIMII was renamed into International Academy of Genius with the main functions staying the same - research, publishing, education -- all for saving geniuses.
So, it's already over two decades that Dr. Aleinikov and his numerous students save the geniuses around the world.
Dr. Aleinikov's original projects involve researchers of all ages - from Dr. E Paul Torrance, who was in his eighties to a 2.5-year-old artist to make a book Defining Creativity: 101 Definitions or What Webster never Told You. But it took seven months to write and publish such a book.
So Dr. Aleinikov decided to compress the process and he designed the so called "Instant Author" Project, where participants become authors in one-two days. You should have seen the happy faces of 400 children in the Franklin Junior High school, Franklin, Ohio! The local newspaper describing the event, wrote, "If you ever wanted to shake a hand of a published author, go to Franklin Junior High, there are 400 of them!" Students of this school first asked whether they became the Guinness World Record holders, and that ignited the idea.
The Guinness World Record was established in South Africa where 209 participants of the Creativity Conference for 4 minutes and 30 seconds were writing essays trying to solve the impossible problems. That book was printed, edited, laid out, published altogether in 15 hours and 46 minutes. So, from scratch to the hands of the readers in 15 hours and 46 minutes!!! When the participant of the Conference the NEXT DAY WERE READING THEIR MASTER PIECES PUBLISHED, there were tears in their eyes, they all wanted more copies for their families, and all money collected was SENT TO THE NELSON MANDELA's CHILDREN FUND. Guinness accepted this extraordinary result as a world record.
Pioneering in Science Solves the Mystery of Pioneers
Even more remarkable are Dr. Aleinikov's scientific achievements. Since geniuses introduce new sciences and discover scientific laws, Dr. Aleinikov researched and defined the methods that lead to these discoveries. As a result, by using "genius methods of thinking," he founded first two (2) new fields of research and then seven (7!) new sciences, including Geniusology, the science of genius, and Novology, the science of newness - the concept that lies in the foundation of ALL creativity and innovation research but somehow has never been studied scientifically. He also discovered eleven (11!) new Laws of Conservation. He actively involves other scientists and even VERY YOUNG scientists in his research - future geniuses, as he says!
It seems miraculous when a newly discovered genius method of thinking (proven to lead to discovery of a Conservation Law) is given to genius students. It is understandable when a PhD in Meteorology, like Dr. Dave Smarsh (USAF Col. Ret, former Chief of Staff, Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey) or a mathematician, Dr. Ralucca Gera (Same school) discover a new Law -- this is some kind of expected. Now new measurement units (linked to these Laws) are named after them. But when a hyper talented 11-year-old girl discovers one and then the second new Law of Conservation - this is a WOW! The participants of the Allied Academies conference gave Michaela McFarland a standing ovation after her presentation. Local media in California was attracted, and even a Russian site www.globalscience.ru published an article about it. But this is not all! A year later, on the basis of newly discovered Conservation Law, Michaela SOLVED THE GRAVITATIONAL MYSTERY OF PIONEER 10 and 11 - two spacecrafts that somehow slowed down their flight far beyond the Solar system. That is obviously a young genius! For details, see www.lawsofconservation.com.
"GEM of Education"
And finally, beyond any logical explanation (for traditional teachers and parents, but well explained by the author) are the educational results of Genius Educational Methodology (GEM) applied to children-at-risk. Teachers and school administrators of one school in Singapore (and Singapore is a world leader in Math and science education), who thought 13 students selected out of 1200 to have no chances to succeed, called it a "miracle" when ALL 13 PASSED ALL 4 GOVERNMENT ISSUED EXAMS (Math, Science, English, and Mother tongue). Students had 52 (13 x 4 = 52) chances to fail, but they failed NONE! It was a 100% success - and it required ONLY 2.5 days of GEM pedagogical intervention. That is why it was called "the GEM of education" by the media! For details see the YouTube presentation in links.
Genius in every person (adult or child). Be!
All in all, Dr. Aleinikov's ideas, new sciences, new methodologies, inspirational stories (in books and speeches) have already touched, influenced, saved, inspired millions of people. His first article introducing the concept of Creative Pedagogy was published in 1989 and his first book where the concept was fully applied - in 1990. At present, there are books and articles on Creative Pedagogy around the world. One teacher changed - changes the lives of 20-40 students! That is how the influence multiplies. There are Centers and Institutes of Creative Pedagogy. Creative Pedagogy is taught at the universities. There are now encyclopedias of Creative Pedagogy. It became a part of human culture. And even, as Dr. Aleinikov says, if some people do not know the originator of the term (concept) - it does not matter. In the same manner, we do not know the name of the person who created the wheel, but we continue to use it. Was it Mr. Wheel or Ms. Koleso (Russian for wheel)? The main thing is that the world revolves/rolls FASTER. Geniuses just do it - they are the FASTEST: they either find a much FASTER way to do something or they are the first to discover something new, which means they are FASTER than the others.
There is a genius in every person (adult or child). Therefore, Dr. Aleinikov says, "Be!"
