Janos Endrenyi Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who

With nearly 60 years of industry experience, Dr. Endrenyi began in the field as a teaching assistant for the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. In the following years, he became a research engineer at the Research Institute for Electric Power. Throughout his career, he has lent his expertise to Toronto Hydro as an engineer, and Ontario Hydro, where he has worked as a research engineer, head of the reliability and statistics section, and principal research engineer.

A graduate of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, the University of Waterloo, and the University of Toronto, Dr. Endrenyi holds a diploma in engineering, a Master of Applied Science, and a PhD. A fellow of the IEEE, he has contributed his expertise to a number of creative works, including "Electric Shock Prevention," which was written in Hungarian, and "Reliability Modeling in Electric Power Systems," which was translated into Russian and Chinese. He is also the author of "Old Times, Evil Times," a memoir dealing with the periods before, during, and after the Second World War in Hungary (April 2011, 1st Edition; November 2016, 2nd Edition).

Over his many years in the field, he has been recognized many times for his professional accomplishments. Since 1990, Dr. Endrenyi has been featured in two volumes of Who's Who in the World, four volumes of Who's Who in Science and Engineering, and 18 volumes of Who's Who in America.
