A partner at Rufus-Isaacs, Acland & Grantham LLP in Beverly Hills, CA, Mr. Concoff is an experienced and talented attorney who represents clients in a number of areas, specifically negotiation, documentation, and structuring of transactions involving the production and distribution of motion pictures and television, both long-form and series productions.

Representing investors, lenders, producers, and distributors, he also has extensive experience in the financial aspects of such transactions, such as equity investments and lending in the motion picture field as well as in other asset-based lending fields, including organizations like the World Trade Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of Boston, Berliner Bank and Bayerische Hypotheken und Wechsel Bank (Hypo Bank) of Munich, and U.S. Bank.

Focusing on litigation, entertainment/media, intellectual property, general business/commercial, real estate, and insurance, Rufus-Isaac, Acland & Grantham LLP practices strictly within the limits of the California law. They do, however, work on behalf of clients outside of the country, including in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, several European countries, the Middle East, Australia, South America, and Asia.

Mr. Concoff spent his earlier years as an associate for O'Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles, as well as an associate and partner for Kaplan, Livingston, et. al in Beverly Hills. He then served as partner for Sidley & Austin from 1981 to 1988, Mitchell Silberberg from 1988 to 1995, and Troy & Gould from 1996 until he was taken on board at his current firm. He served as an adjunct professor at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) Law School in the early 1980s, where he taught a course called Motion Picture Transactions and co-founded and served as the first co-chair of the Annual UCLA Entertainment Symposium.

Lecturing and authoring a handful of articles during the course of his career, Mr. Concoff's topics have centered around the motion picture industry, specifically on the emphasis on copyright and other intellectual property issues, domestic and international production, financing and exploitation of theatrical, television, video, and multimedia entertainment projects. He also spoke, moderated, organized and co-chaired several programs at the Cannes Film Festival most recently between 2009 and 2014.

Affiliated with several organizations, Mr. Concoff is a member of the American Bar Association, California Bar Association, the former chairman of the motion picture and television division of The Forum Committee on Sports and Entertainment Industries of the American Bar Association, and a member of the board of trustees of the Los Angeles Copyright Society. Furthermore, Mr. Concoff is recognized as a former member of the board of directors of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Mr. Concoff served as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army in 1958. That same year he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting at UCLA, followed by an LLB at Harvard Law School 1962. He was admitted to practice by the California Bar Association in 1963.
