Mr. Tsypkin was born in Kutaisi, Georgia, then a part of the Soviet Union. He attended St. Petersburg Electrical Engineering University in Russia to earn a Master's degree in 1976, and later earned a second Master's degree in Computer Science from St. Petersburg University in 1994.
As a vibration analyst, Mr. Tsypkin has worked with the Central Ship Electrical Engineering and Technology Research Institute and VibroAcustical Systems and Technologies Inc. in St. Petersburg. He is currently serving as a field engineer with Vibration Specialty Corporation.
Mr. Tsypkin has produced three inventions over the course of his career, as well as 12 publications in Russian magazines, and nine publications in the proceedings of scientific conferences in the U.S.A. Notably, he is a member of the vibration institute, category III, of the IEEE, where he has published one article. At Vibration Specialty Corporation, Mr. Tsypkin offers his inventions and experience to help provide 24-hour service in diagnostics and balancing. The company has offered its services to the power generation industry, gas production, pulp paper factories, and the marine industry since 1918.
In his free time, Mr. Tsypkin enjoys soccer, collecting stamps, and going to art museums. He also finds the time to attend the theater and opera. Mr. Tsypkin is married. As of 2017, he has accrued 40 years in his profession.
