During the course of his career, he has developed the process and equipment for three-dimensional packaging of a next generation semiconductor, as well as the smart injection molding system with built-in sensor for the production of ultra-precision lenses for mobile phones. Presently, he is developing the interconnection system and process for flexible three-dimensional heterogeneous devices.
Beyond his status as a respected and long-standing figure in his industry, Dr. Song has been recognized many times for his professional accomplishments, earning a Commendation of Minister through the Ministries of Commerce, Industry and Energy, and Knowledge Economy. More recently, Dr. Song has also won National Research & Development Excellence and Best Achievement Awards.
